While neoliberal forms of economic development are failing almost universally, Community Wealth Building has rapidly expanded as a powerfully demonstrated and democratic alternative. This action-focused podcast looks at immediately replicable practices for building community wealth. Interviews feature leading practitioners across Canada, as well as international examples that can quickly be integrated into the Canadian landscape. Season 1 covers: Procurement, Community Land Trusts, Worker Cooperatives, Social Acquisition & the “Silver Tsunami” of Retiring Entrepreneurs, Community Bonds, and Local Currencies.
